Add-on

Climb Kilimanjaro

Add Africa's highest peak to your safari. Pick a route below, then build a full climb plan with flights, lodges, park fees and the total cost.

Marangu

5–6 days

Moderate

The classic 'Coca-Cola' route. The only one with hut accommodation instead of tents, and a gentler, direct path up. Great for first-timers who want a bed each night.

Machame

6–7 days

Challenging

The most popular route, known as the 'Whiskey' route. Steeper and scenic, with excellent acclimatisation and high summit success rates.

Lemosho

7–8 days

Challenging

A longer, quieter trail starting in rainforest on the western side. The extra days give the best acclimatisation and some of the finest views on the mountain.

Rongai

6–7 days

Moderate

The only route approaching from the north, near the Kenyan border. Drier, less crowded and a good choice in the rainy season.

Pick a route above first.
